Ingredients
6 tbsp butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
4 cups chicken broth
6 oz Uncle Ben's Original Recipe Long Grain & Wild Rice (cooked)
2 cups chicken cooked and chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup half and half
Optional:
1/2 cup sliced carrots
3 tbsp slivered almonds
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot, and add flour. Stir until combined creating a roux.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add cooked rice and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients and heat through. ENJOY!
